What is a good first offer for paying cash on a 2002 GMC Envoy?

I would start about $11,500. Set the price you are willing to pay BEFORE you walk into the dealership!!!!!! If they will not meet this price (and it is reasonable), GET UP AND WALK OUT THE DOOR!!!! If they know you are paying cash, and are willing to buy today, they will likely come after you with another offer. Stand your ground, and you can get a really good deal this way. You have the upper hand. Don’t let them push you around. BTW, $13,250 is a decent price, I believe, but check it at nada.com or kbb.com. If it is priced at 13.5, you should be able to buy it for no more than 12.5, but it depends on what they have in it, how long it has been since they made a sale, and whether or not their wife burnt the toast this morning. I would not if its the aluminum block engine. Cast iron is what you want.

There is no extra discount for cash. In fact, the dealer makes less money on cash sales.
I’d go with $11500.
